Snow!

snow

You don’t often see snow in the low country of South Carolina.  It was a wonderful Friday night and Saturday morning.  I think this is the third time I’ve seen snow in South Carolina since 1989.  Every time it has happened, the state effectively closes down for lack of snow clearing equipment and to keep SC drivers off the road.  Fortunately, this snow fall happened at a wonderful time.  It started on a Friday night, and most of it melted by nightfall on Saturday.  The neighborhood kids had a wonderful morning making snowmen and having snowball fights.  After playing in it a while, I pulled out the camera to see how different the neighborhood and Goose Creek looks.  I hope you enjoy the pictures.  I sure enjoyed taking them.
